Join us for the launch of our new report ‘Care amongst the climate emergency' and special screening of the National Emergency Briefing
This event will showcase the lived experiences of nurses faced with extreme weather events and their impact in the UK and internationally.The effects and impact of our warming planet are increasing bringing tangible threats to the health and wellbeing of people everywhere, resulting in unprecedented demand on our health and care services. As nurses we recognise the climate crisis as a health and ecological crisis. This event combines the real-life experiences of 2026 with the science of climate change through a special screening of the National Emergency Briefing. Alongside our audience and invited guest panel members we will discuss actions to address this emergency and the role and needs of nursing professionals in this.
This event is open to anyone with an interest in climate change, including RCN members, RCN staff, non-members and members of the general public.
