Singing for health – rehearsal

04 Jun 2024, 08:00 - 08:45

  • The Lounge, ICC Wales, Coldra Woods, Newport, NP18 1HQ

Building on the success of last year, 2 uplifting and joyful sessions will provide a unique opportunity for members to form a pop-up Congress choir, learn an RCN anthem and then perform it at Congress on Tuesday afternoon. The anthem was written by choral activist and musical director, Kirsty Martin, using the words of members to describe what nursing means to them. The anthem is performed in 3-part a cappella using call and response, no singing experience is required. This joyful and uplifting event unites members in harmonic solidarity and shared purpose.

This session is accessible to anyone within the nursing team. No experience is necessary, if you can speak, you can sing!
