Collaboration: RCN Northern Ireland Independent Health Sector Nurse Manager Network and RCN Public Health Forum

This inclusive session is for nursing staff across the NHS and IHSC sector to showcase interesting and diverse career pathways.

The session will encourage delegates to think about the possibilities that are available in the independent health and social care sector, what the NHS and the IHSC can learn from one another, and how collaboration can be meaningful between colleagues in the NHS and IHSC sector.

Attendees will:

  • discover the various nursing/nurse support worker (NSW) opportunities in the diverse IHSC sector
  • learn about the RCN resources available to members  
  • analyse the potential career pathways within the independent health and social care sector
  • create practical strategies for cultivating connections and partnerships between nurses and NSWs in the IHSC sector and the NHS to facilitate successful collaboration.

This session is aimed at the entire nursing workforce across NHS and IHSC. Take advantage of this chance to unlock new opportunities and navigate your IHSC path, breaking in and not breaking out!
