What’s your level? Levels of clinical practice and what it means to you and your career

03 Jun 2024, 17:30 - 18:15

  • 2A, ICC Wales, Coldra Woods, Newport, NP18 1HQ
Hosted by: RCN Advanced Nurse Practitioner Forum

Collaboration: RCN Professional Nursing Committee, RCN General Practice Nursing Forum, Nursing Workforce Academy and Nursing Department

The session will introduce and provide a summary of the newly published RCN Levels of Nursing which form part of the Professional Framework Programme and share career journeys giving insight into a variety of specialties and settings.

The levels demonstrate enhanced, advanced and consultant levels of nursing practice and cover a range of settings within the UK, including where possible the independent sector.

This session would be of interest to all nurses from across UK settings. It will support those wanting to advance their practice and hear of nursing careers across different specialties and settings. It would also be of interest to student nurses and potentially nursing support workers keen to explore career opportunities.
