Nursing Support Workers' Day (NHS Borders)

On the 25th November, the RCN will be visiting Borders General Hospital to celebrate Nursing Support Workers’ Day.
Between 9-11.15am, we will be holding an event in the Lecture theatre at the education centre.
The event will kick off with cakes, coffee and a visit from senior staff across NHS Borders. If you don’t have time to join the full event, you can join us for this part between 9-10am.
Then, from 10am, we will cover:
- 10am-10.30 Finding info online- with quiz/prizes
- 10.30-11am Record keeping and psychological safety
- 11-11.15am Using your voice and getting involved
For catering purposes, booking is encouraged via the 'Book now' link above.
We will also be set up in BGH Dining room between 12.30-1.30pm so you can catch us there if you are short on time.
Lastly, we are hoping to visit some wards between 2-3.30pm for a quick hello. If you’d like to request we visit your ward, drop us an email on Jennifer.underwood@rcn.org.uk
