This training day offers a valuable opportunity for you, as an accredited representative, to connect with colleagues across the region, share insights, and contribute to our collective work.
Recent changes to immigration legislation are expected to significantly affect many of our members. Kam Mak, RCN Immigration Adviser, will be leading an informative and practical workshop to help us understand and navigate these developments.
We’ll examine how these legislative changes are likely to affect members, nursing teams, patient care, and service delivery across the South West. The session will provide a structured space for discussion, analysis, and shared learning.
In addition, we’re excited to introduce our new equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) continuous learning and development offer, launching this December for all reps. RCN Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Programme Lead Bruno Daniel will facilitate a session focused on inclusion - creating space to share challenges, exchange experiences, and raise questions.
Together, we’ll consider how to take a collaborative approach to addressing concerns and driving positive change.
Finally, this day will be a great opportunity to bid farewell to Tony Aspinall, who will be retiring at the end of the year. Please join us in wishing him all the very best as he prepares to leave the Royal College of Nursing after many years of dedicated service.
