What is a Biometric Resident Permit (BRP)?
The Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) was used as evidence of your lawful residence in the UK. It provided details of your name, date of birth, and your biometric information such as your fingerprint.
Your BRP can no longer be used as a form of photographic identification, members must sign up for the eVisa.
You can no longer request BRP replacements.
You will need to sign up for the new eVisa.
