The recent Supreme Court judgement on the legal definition of a woman in the Equality Act 2010 has raised important questions for the future of nursing practice.
As your trade union and professional body, we want to understand how this judgement affects you in your role and your workplace. We recognise that some members may have questions about how the judgement may affect employment practice as well as clinical practice, and concerns about their ability to protect the privacy and dignity of patients.
We are inviting all members to attend an online or in-person session which will provide a safe, inclusive space for you to share your thoughts. You can sign up using the link above.
