Implementation of the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016

The Welsh Government would like your views on the Implementation of the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016.

They want your views on changes to the regulation and inspection of social care services and the social care workforce in Wales.

They are consulting on  draft proposals, which include:

• mandatory registration of adult care home workers
• require service providers to only employ and/or engage under a contract for services individuals who are registered with Social Care Wales (SCW)
