- Midwifery at the RCN: Supporting Midwives, Student Midwives and Maternity Support Workers [April 2020]. This leaflet explains how the RCN supports midwives, student midwives and maternity support workers.
- RCN professional forums: Midwifery Forum [February 2020]. This PowerPoint presentation provides further information about the role of the Midwifery Forum.
I wanted to join the RCN Midwifery Forum as I believed that, as professional colleagues, midwives and nurses, together we could take a strong approach to improving care and advocating for childbearing women.
Within the Midwifery Forum I have found widely experienced midwifery colleagues who are as passionate about safe care as I am. The Midwifery Forum gives me the opportunity to work with these colleagues to develop projects, respond to policy and represent the RCN's pool of midwifery expertise and knowledge.
