19 Aug 2025, 18:00 - 19:00
Choose event information:
In May 2025, the UK Government published a white paper on immigration, which set out key changes to immigration policy. Some of these changes impact internationally educated nursing staff (IENs).
This webinar is for all internationally educated registered nurses and nursing support workers on a health and care worker visa, family visa, student visa, or graduate visa.
The webinar will give attendees a better understanding of the changes to the UK’s immigration rules and assist you with questions on:
- Increases to the immigration salary threshold, and the impact on those in NHS Band 3 roles and in the care sector.
- Changes to rules around family dependents for roles which are RQF levels 3-5.
- Changes to rules for sponsoring care workers.
- Government proposals on indefinite leave to remain.
This webinar will also set out how the RCN is responding to these proposals and seeking to influence the UK Government.
Participants will be able to ask questions and receive answers from our panellists. For personal immigration advice, RCN members can also get in touch with the RCN directly. Contact the advice centre.
