Ayr nursing support worker education event

RCN Scotland is running a free education event for those working in nursing support roles in Ayr Hospital from 10am on 13 August.
This event is open to all HCSWs and care assistants and others working in similar roles in the NHS and social care (for example care homes, private hospitals etc). The content is tailored to support workers but registered nurses are welcome to attend. This event is open to members and non members.
There will be several bite-sized sessions running on the day and you can attend as many as you wish.
The programme for the day is:
10-10:40am - Accountability and delegation
Discuss the principles of accountability & delegation and how they are applied in practice
10:45-11:15am - Record keeping Highlight good practice in record keeping
11:20-11:50am - Social media safety Discuss issues that may arise when using social media and recognise how to use social media safely
12-1pm - Open drop in session
Drop in anytime in the hour to find out more about the RCN and how to get involved as a nursing support worker
1-1:40pm - Accountability and delegation
Repeat of morning session
1:45-2:15pm - Record keeping Repeat of morning session
