We are running free education sessions for all those in support roles in nursing on 24 September at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary.
This event is open to all HCSWs and care assistants and others working in similar roles in the NHS and social care (for example care homes, private hospitals etc). The content is tailored to support workers but registered nurses are welcome to attend. This event is open to members and non members.
Between 11-1pm, we are running an education session covering Accountability & delegation, record keeping and using social media safely in the Learning centre. Click the book now link above to secure your place.
Just got 5 minutes free? We will also be set up between 1.15-2.30pm in the main foyer
Here, we can offer some bite-size learning on the following topics, including:
- What to think about when accepting a delegated task
- Principles of good record keeping
- Social media – do’s and don’ts
- Bring along any other questions you have
We are committed to raising the profile of nursing support workers and we are keen to meet you however much time you have. We can discuss how to get more involved in the RCN, why you should nominate a colleague for the Nurse of the Year awards and talk through any other questions you may have.
The stand is also open to registered nurses and student nurses. Come along and find out how to get the most from your RCN membership.
