All RCN members in North Yorkshire are invited to join their upcoming branch meeting and learning event on Thursday 8 May 2025.
6.00-7.00pm Learning event: The impact of increased tuition fees on future nursing students
Branch members will be joined by Professor David Barrett RN BA PhD from the University of York, who will be exploring the impact of increased tuition fees. Professor Barrett will consider whether the increased fees may result in a reduction of future nursing student numbers wishing to pursue a career in professional nursing.
7.00 - 8.00pm North Yorkshire Branch meeting
The learning event will be followed by the North Yorkshire Branch meeting. Branch meetings are your opportunity to come together with fellow local members to discuss the issues facing nursing today.
Led by your branch executive team, this is a chance to give and receive support and to discuss plans for the branch for the coming months.
