This Learning Disability Nursing Forum webinar aims to help raise the profile of Registered Nurses in Learning Disability working in social care.
This free webinar, hosted by the RCN Learning Disability forum highlights that there are many Registered Nurses in Learning Disabilities (RNLDs) that work in social care.Their work largely goes unseen.
This event aims to change that by showcasing a range of successful RNLDs who work in social care so attendees can learn about their inspirational careers and the pathways that have led them there.
There will be an opening presentation by Steven Rose, one of the co-authors of Continuing the Commitment (1995) sharing his reflections on what has been achieved 30 years on, and his own experiences of working in social care.
