RCN Wales Research Lecture

RCN Wales will be holding its Biennial Research Lecture, this year themed around Mental Health. There will be presentations focussing on mental health in the workplace as well as a presentation focussing on clinical practice.
We are delighted to be joined by the following speakers:
- Chair – Professor Danny Kelly OBE, FRCN, Emeritus Chair of RCN Nursing Research
- Dr Dean Whybrow, Lecturer: Mental Health Nursing (Teaching & Research), Cardiff University and Dr Tessa Watts, Velindre Reader for Nursing and Interdisciplinary Research, Cardiff University: presenting on the topic ‘Mental Health and moral injury in the workplace’.
- Professor Ben Hannigan, Emeritus Professor, Cardiff University: presenting on the topic ‘Complexity, connectedness and coordination; approaches to research in the mental health field’.
This event is open to all nursing staff. Refreshments and a light buffet will be provided from 5.30pm, with the lecture taking place from 6pm – 8pm. This in an in-person event only, and unfortunately there is not an opportunity to attend online.
