This event is open to members and non-members of nursing staff working in the independent health and social care sectors across the UK
Many health and care professionals provide care and support for people with incurable illnesses and their families. Providing care at this often-difficult period of a person’s life requires skill and resilience. This event will provide some insights into approaches to nursing adults approaching the end of their life.You will hear from expert speakers on a range of topics including:
- evidence- based guidance and quality standards
- the Victoria and Stuart Project (End of life planning with people with learning disabilities)
- hospice care.
There will be an opportunity for participants to ask questions to our panel of experts.
