We focus on acute and critical care and our members include children’s nurses who work in emergency departments, surgical units and wards with orthopaedic beds, as well as neonatal and critical care nurses.

I joined the RCN in 1984 without thinking - because that's what everyone did. The benefits were vague in my mind. However one never knows when one needs a friend and the RCN is exactly that, a professional friend. The RCN exists to provide professional development, insight and awareness. No one should go on shift without them.
