On Nursing Support Workers’ Day, we shine a light on the sometimes unseen but essential care nursing support workers give to patients and their families, playing a core role in the day-to-day running of health and care services across all settings. Find out where you can celebrate with us!
This year Nursing Support Workers' Day falls on Sunday 23 November, so we've decided to hold our celebration events over a few days, to make sure everyone has the chance to get involved.
Take a look at where we're going to be and when, and please try to join us if you can.
Nursing Support Workers' Day celebration events
- Thursday 20 November, 11am - 2pm, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham: there will be an RCN stand outside the entrance to the Plaza Restaurant on level 2
- Friday 21 November, 11am - 1pm, Midland Metropolitan University Hospital: you'll find the RCN stand on level 5 in the Winter Garden
- Monday 24 November, from 10am, Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital: keep an eye out for the RCN stand - exact location not yet confirmed
While we can't make any promises, we're sure there'll be plenty of goodies and giveaways on offer like RCN bags and pens. There might even be some mince pies, chocolates and sweets!
